Hire With Near (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This page describes what data we collect when you use the careers portal at careers.hirewithnear.com, why we collect it, and how to exercise your rights.

What we collect

• Account info - email, name, phone, profile picture (via Clerk authentication).
• Application data - jobs you apply to, saved roles, resume, optional cover notes.
• Usage signals - pages visited, search queries, session activity (anonymous + linked to your account once signed in).

Why we collect it

• To match you with relevant roles at our client companies.
• To share your profile and applications with our recruiting team and (with your consent) hiring partners.
• To run the platform reliably and improve it over time.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share necessary information with our recruiting team and, upon application, the specific hiring company you apply to. We use trusted processors (Supabase, Clerk, OpenAI, Vercel) to operate the service.

Your rights

You can export, correct, or delete your data at any time from the account page. For requests not handled there, email privacy@hirewithnear.com.

Retention

Inactive accounts are anonymized after 24 months. You can delete your account at any time, which removes your data from our portal within 30 days.
