At Near, we help top talent in Latin America find remote roles with US companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders. This is a fully remote contractor position for Latin American individuals currently living in Latin America.
About our client
Is a US based full-service finance and accounting firm for startups and high growth companies. Our goal is to help clients become investor-grade businesses and to grow with confidence.
ABOUT
We’re building a new kind of firm, one that brings together McKinsey-grade strategy, Big 4-grade rigor, and founder-grade hustle.
Our mission: To empower founders to lead with clarity, scale with discipline, and create meaningful value for all stakeholders.
We advise high-growth consumer and retail brands from startup to scale to M&A. Our team blends top-tier consulting strategy with hands-on execution to help founder-led brands grow with confidence, navigate complexity, and build enterprise value.
ROLE
We deliver through integrated pods. Each pod includes a Client CFO, a Director of Finance, and a controllership/bookkeeping team. We're hiring a Director of Finance to serve as the analytical and operational backbone of this structure, owning the FP&A execution, financial modeling, reporting, and KPI infrastructure that allows our CFOs to focus on what matters most: strategic planning, capital allocation, and serving as thought partners to founders and executive teams.
Today, our CFOs spend roughly 70% of their time on reporting, analytics, and model maintenance. That's not the highest and best use of a CFO's time. This hire changes that equation. You will own the analytical engine so our CFOs can operate at the level our clients deserve.
We are looking for someone with the technical depth of an investment banker, the commercial judgment to advise operators directly, and the professional maturity to represent the firm in client meetings when a CFO is unavailable. You should be equally comfortable building a three-statement model from scratch and walking a VP of Supply Chain through margin implications of a new vendor contract.
This structure gives you deep exposure to sophisticated financial work across multiple brands while working closely with senior finance professionals who are invested in your development.
